Like I always tell MerryJan, gaming is like money... the more the better! So fill up my pockets baby! All that matters is that our gamerscore is 9,625 points and on the rise. He opened up FIFA 09, as well as stared off into space... thinking about the one that got away.

We played games yesterday... No really... I have proof! MerryJan might have told you otherwise, but we really did. 9,625 points of total gamerscore means we are teh awes0me! That is an increase of 10 points over last time! He made some progress on Gears of War picking up 1 achievement, and then he almost hugged me, but I was like back off dude.

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: If MerryJan plays 3 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. It was productive... Gamerscore went up 70 points so I am happy. Yay for 10 achievements! w00t!

I told MerryJan to try 3 games last week: Gears of War, Gears of War 2, and Halo 3. It was a mix of good and bad. Also, according to the records, MerryJan must have been craving sports because FIFA 09 was the weekly favorite. He played it on 3 of the days.

And that is the news for now... Check back next week... same bat time, same bat channel...

MerryJan held the Xbox button on his controller down for a few seconds and our adventure began! A gamer score of 9,615 is lighting the way. That is a boost of 40 points over last time! He rocked out to Gears of War gaining 3 achievements, FIFA 09, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects.

Oh man, MerryJan was totally in the gaming zone yesterday when he fired me up to play. 9,575 points of total gamerscore doesn't do his skills justice. That is an increase of 30 points over last time! He rocked out to Rock Band Music Store, Gears of War 2 acquiring an amazing 7 achievements, Halo 3, FIFA 09, The Beatles: Rock Band, Gears of War, and afterwards, there were some awkward stares and silence... you know how it is.

This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: So yeah... Last week MerryJan showed up 2 days total and logged some serious gaming. We came close to a few gamerscore opportunities, but nothing really panned out. Oh, and MerryJan must have been in an athletic mood last week rallying some sports games. FIFA 09 was the favorite. He played it on 2 of the days.

Jugamos?

Para todos los que me conocen soy un videojugador constante, me gustan mucho los de futbol (soy adicto a FIFA desde el FIFA97) y de autos. Claro que juego tambien de todo tipo, desde los clasicos de plataforma, deportes, aventura, estrategia, rpg (nunca me gustaron), puzzle, etc..., me mostre un poco reacio a si comprar o no el juego de moda en estos tiempos Grand Theft Auto IV.

Debo decir que he jugado las versiones anteriores y la que mas me habia gustado era el GTAIII que fue el primero en verse como la version actual, porque antes las graficas eran bastante cuestionables, no asi la jugabilidad que siempre ha sido excelente. Pues bien, decia que no corri a comprar como desesperado el juego en las primeras horas de venta como hacia antes y es porque no sabia como iba a reaccionar una vez que lo tuviera, como iba a jugarlo?, me va a gustar?, ya no soy el tipo violento de antes, me gustó mas la pelicula de Click y aun mas Reign Over Me que Death Proof!!!!!!. Pero que agradable sorpresa descubrir que GTAIV tiene los elementos necesarios para volver a Liberty City y hacerte dueño de ella.

No les voy a contar la historia porque seria como arrunar una pelicula, las graficas no son las mejores, pero si son muy buenas, y te transporta a un ambiente clasico de GTA para convertirte en lo que tu quieras, que eso es lo que permite que los Grand Theft Auto sean tan divertidos, porque si nos estas siguiendo la linea bastante torcida de la historia, puedes hacerla de taxista o de policia o que se yo. La "realidad" que tiene este juego es impresionante! y que decir del multiplayer en xbox live.

La verdad es un juego muy recomendable, para los que no lo hayan jugado (de verdad existe alguien que no lo conozca?) ni les va a costar trabajo el modo y los entretendra un buen rato, y para los que les gusta esta saga que esperan?, mi gamertag es MerryJan quiza nos encontremos en los confines de Liberty City.
